Dream come true: Building a computer from scratch

I vividly remember, in my childhood, I used to play all sorts of permutations and combinations of building a computer from scratch, IN MY DREAMS!
To feel all the moving parts inside a computer, understand each component to its core then carefully assemble each of them together to make it whole, WAS A DREAM.
That dream has finally come true with Hornet I will cherish this moment forever in my life!

By the very nature of Hornet since it works on Blockchain, it is very computationally heavy. However we had minimal financial resources to buy top-end servers. Hence I decided to build one from scratch on my own, the bonus would be, if any part catches fire (high computation!) I would be able to repair on my own :D
Plus, the cost would be less since I’ve purchased each part from a local shops (chandni, of Kolkata) and assembled too.
But on the downside, if I fail to make it, it might be the end because we don’t have enough to buy another server of such a mammoth config! It was an intensive 4 day long hustle, but finally, I was able to build it.
Absolutely a moment to ecstasy to see it boot up :)

This wouldn’t have been possible with the relentless support from Muralidhar S who thoroughly helped me in assembling, and most importantly he being a great electronics engineer, I had mental peace and support!

Hornet runs on such carefully crafted self-hosted blockchain nodes, behind which there is a lot of blood and sweat, and we are proud of where we have reached. From raising pre-seed round from GoI to reaching Product-Market-Fit within a year and now successfully achieving steady revenue generation, all within 1.5 year has been a dream come true. I have an amazing team with me that has been pivotal in building such state-of-the-art software that can tackle the massive challenges in this $3.5 Trillion dollar crypto industry, which is shaping the world finance, governing the election of the most powerful country and threatening the status quo!
